A Model For Reframing Chiropractic Care: HIO In The 21st Century
/Check out A Model For Reframing Chiropractic Care: HIO In The 21st Century, here!
Well if we call the eye of the needle the surgery in early December, I came through with flying colors! I am feeling great and looking forward to working Tuesdays starting January 14, 2025. I will be doing half hour visits with established practice members for $120. I will add a day in a few months. As many of you know I was semi-retired in 2022 working Mondays and Tuesdays doing 15 minute visits. I will get back to that as my surgical intervention site strengthens. Ten pounds of offensive tissue was removed by the expert surgeon. Unfortunately the medical model names it ovarian cancer. I disagree. I feel it was lymphatic congestion that walled itself off and my body was unable to remove it. I am glad I had the surgery and after doing “Nature’s chemo” annually for 24 years, Man-made chemo was an eye opener! I am cleaned out and ready to rebuild my vitality. Loving the short hair and flat belly!
I will be teaching again, my new course will be called “If you have a hammer, everything that walks in to your office is a nail.” It will address the animosity between professions that are in the broad and misnamed Health Care System. My Life’s goal continues to be to empower people to take responsibility for how they feel and why they feel that way. Then to help people develop intuition and discernment to choose what modalities are best for them to feel better. Every one and any one is better of if their head is on straight!
To that end my cohorts Dr. Emily her husband Tim, and the bodywork team ran the office beautifully during my leave. Dan Judge DC in Royal Oak and his team as well as Kathryn Conlen LMT and her team in Rochester continued providing the model of care that Essential Chiropractic is based on. How wonderful is that. Onward and upward from here folks.
I would also like to express my gratitude for all the thoughts, prayers and well wishes from practice members that helped me through this experience. As my Mother always said if it doesn’t kill you it makes you stronger. I’m feeling strong and motivated to continue my life’s work and document it.
Blessings
